KPMG in the United Kingdom offers an Audit trainee programme where you’ll work at the heart of major organisations, gaining hands-on experience across projects and industries while studying towards accounting qualifications.

The programme funds AAT Levels 3 and 4 and the Level 7 ACA/CA equivalent, provides dedicated study leave, 25 days’ holiday, and volunteering days; hybrid working with some travel for audit work.

Qualifications

• Pursue professional accounting qualifications while performing auditing duties.
• Previous study in accounting is preferable but not required for entry; funded training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Audit team on diverse projects across industries.
• Assist with data analysis and audit testing to improve audit quality.
• Travel for audit engagements as required by client assignments.

Training and Benefits

On this programme, you’ll study towards the AAT Levels 3 and 4, plus the Level 7 ACA professional qualification or CA equivalent in Scotland. These qualifications are fully funded by KPMG and are supported by an extensive programme of internal training spanning both personal and professional development. We offer an annual salary of £25,500 to £28,000, and a host of great benefits too, including 25 days’ holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday. What’s more, you can take up to six days of time off to take part in volunteering initiatives.

Our firm’s hybrid working model balances the flexibility of working from home with the importance of collaborating and learning in our offices or at the sites of the organisations we audit. We trust our people to be where they need to be, with our colleagues working together in person as often as needed. Some travel is likely for audit work, and because its seasonal, you should expect there to be busy times of the year.
