Accounts and Audit Senior Position Overview

• Preparation of financial statements for limited companies
• Preparation of partnerships and sole traders accounts
• Liaison with clients on all enquiries
• Assisting Audit Managers and Accounts Managers with their portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and timelines.
• Developing and overseeing trainees
• Review of juniors audit and accounts preparation work
• Maintaining and developing client relationships, both written communication and conducting face-to-face meetings
• Dependant on experience, supervising junior members of staff

Accounts and Audit Senior Position Requirements

• ACA / ACCA qualified / qualified by experience
• Good written / verbal communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills are essential
• The ability to work under pressure and work as an effective team member
• Good time management, prioritising skills in meeting deadlines
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel

Accounts and Audit Senior Position Remuneration

Salary dependent on experience, from £45-65k
