Sheridan Maine is working with a respected and expanding accountancy practice in London to appoint an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual seeking hands‑on experience across audit and accounts, while developing their career within a supportive and collaborative firm.

Key Responsibilities of an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior
  • Assist in planning and completing audits for a diverse client base.
  • Support senior staff with audit fieldwork and client communication.
  • Prepare corporate and personal tax computations (training provided where required).
  • Prepare year‑end statutory accounts in line with FRS 102 and FRS 105.
  • Liaise directly with clients, helping to build strong working relationships.
  • Work closely with managers and partners to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Contribute to internal improvements and support the wider team where needed.
Qualifications to Succeed as an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior
  • ACA / ACCA part‑qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Experience in audit and accounts within an accountancy practice.
  • Confident using cloud‑based accounting systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
  • Organised, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
