Clark Wood and a distinguished firm of chartered accountants are recruiting an Audit & Accounts Senior in Stoke on Trent. The successful candidate will lead audits from planning to completion.

You will prepare and review year-end accounts, handle corporation tax returns, and supervise junior staff, while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to ongoing development within a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualification or finalist required.
• Experience leading audit assignments essential.
• Practice experience in accounting firms is essential.

Responsibilities

• Leading audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Preparation and review of year-end accounts.
• Preparation of corporation tax returns.
• Supervising and developing junior staff.
• Liaising with clients and ensuring quality deliverables.
