Job summary

Pro-Recruitment is seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior in Kettering. You will manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, charities and SMEs, covering audits, statutory and management accounts, and tax computations with training provided as needed.

The role offers progression as the firm grows, with full study support and a supportive culture. You will contribute across audit, accounts and tax while developing your rounded skill set in a modern independent practice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practice experience in audit and accounts.
• AAT-qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
• In-house training available for tax if not already experienced.

Responsibilities

• Planning, fieldwork, and completion of smaller audits.
• Assisting on larger group audits with senior staff.
• Statutory and management accounts preparation.

Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior - Kettering - £30,000-£40,000 (DOE)

A respected and growing independent accountancy practice in Kettering is looking to add an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to its expanding team. The firm has recently acquired another practice and is building additional capacity across audit and accounts, offering plenty of variety and progression for the right person.

The role:

You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, charities, and SMEs, working across:

• Planning, fieldwork, and completion of smaller, straightforward audits
• Assisting on larger group audits alongside senior staff
• Statutory and management accounts preparation
• Corporate and personal tax computations (training available if required)
• Building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike

About you:

You’ll have around 2+ years of practice experience, including exposure to audit and accounts work. The firm is open to AAT-qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or qualified-by-experience candidates.

Whether you're stronger in audit or accounts, the role can be shaped around your strengths. For those without tax experience, full in-house training is provided by the firm's tax specialists.
