Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust Audiology is seeking a part-time Audiology Support role to assist at three sites: Broomfield Hospital, Braintree Community Hospital, and St Peters Hospital in Maldon. The post is 26 hours per week across sites, with travel between locations essential.

You will perform hearing aid repairs, help with stock control and respond to patient enquiries, supporting the audiology team to deliver patient-centred care in a busy NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisting audiology or healthcare settings is desirable.
• Strong empathy and patient-centered approach required.
• Ability to work across multiple sites with good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing aid repairs and provide basic technical support.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Answer patient enquiries and provide information with sensitivity.
• Support infection control practices and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Maintain clear communication within the audiology team and with patients.
