Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a band 5 Audiologist to join our experienced team of Healthcare Scientists. Our service is based in Windsor, and we also cover several sites across East Berkshire. Staff regularly work at different sites during the week. Our core hours are 0800‑1600 Monday‑Friday. We see a range of complex adult and paediatric patients for audiological assessment and rehabilitation, and provide audiology support to our ENT colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine aspects of diagnostic and rehabilitative adult audiology, and become involved in advanced techniques and procedures.
  • Perform routine paediatric hearing assessment for older children, supporting ENT clinics.
  • Communicate calmly, compassionately and effectively, reassuring service users so they feel valued, heard and understood.
Must Haves
  1. BSc in Audiology or Medical Physics/Physiological Measurements and BAAT I and II, and AHCS registration (or ready to register).
  2. Evidence of a problem‑solving approach based on good underlying scientific knowledge.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
