Job summary
King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Audiologist to join a small, friendly Adult Hearing Service covering the Princess Royal University and Beckenham Beacon Hospitals. The role includes full diagnostic assessments, fitting and programming NHS hearing aids, and supporting service development within a patient-centred ENT collaboration.
The post holder will work across sites as needed, with travel between hospitals.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and patient-centred care are essential.
- Ability to work independently within a very small team and support service development.
- Full diagnostic hearing assessments and assessment of hearing needs are required.
- Fitting and programming NHS hearing aids, with accurate record keeping and admin duties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full diagnostic hearing assessments.
- Assess hearing needs and recommend appropriate hearing solutions.
- Fit and programme NHS hearing aids and perform follow-up as needed.
- Schedule and manage hearing aid repairs and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain accurate and timely records and complete administrative duties.
