Job summary

A trusted healthcare provider in the UK is looking for an Audiologist to join their adult audiology department. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, performing adult rehabilitation, and supporting ENT clinics. Newly graduated audiologists are welcomed, and consideration may lead to a permanent position. Applicants should be experienced in audiological counselling and skilled in hearing aid assessment and fittings. This is an excellent opportunity for driven candidates passionate about patient care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year placement in an audiology dept. as part of degree programme.
  • Experience of working in an NHS Audiology Department outside of placement.
  • Experience of working in another NHS setting/dept.

Responsibilities

  • Provide adult rehabilitation including audiological counselling and hearing aid assessment.
  • Fit, follow-up and repair hearing aids, support ENT clinics.
  • Conduct further specialist audiological testing as required.

Skills

Experience using GN Resound software/hearing aids
Experience using Auditbase patient management system
Able to conduct advanced audiology-testing (OAE/speech testing/Speech in noise etc.)
Completed Audiology Supervisors Course
Experience in provision of training/supervision to junior staff members/students

Education

BSc Degree in Audiology / OR / BAAT exam Part 1 / 2 + relevant additional qualification (BT/CertHE etc)
MSc Degree in Audiology
