Job summary

The Audiology Department at the James Paget University Hospital is seeking a Band 5 audiologist to join our expanding team. You will provide adult diagnostic and rehabilitation services, with some paediatric testing and support to ENT as part of a multidisciplinary service near the Norfolk coast.

• BSc in Audiology or nationally recognised qualification in Audiology.
• State registered or working towards registration.
• Experience in adult diagnostic and rehabilitation; paediatric testing exposure is a plus.

• Carry out adult diagnostic and rehabilitation testing.
• Support ENT and paediatric testing where required.
• Contribute to the training of apprentices and junior staff.
• Work as part of a team with excellent communication and collaboration.

We provide a Hearing Therapy service, balance service, support to ENT and hospital based NHSP. We are an established training site and encourage continuing professional development. We also participate in National research programs. Our department offers excellent facilities and a positive working environment. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we expand our service into the local Community Diagnostic Centre and are involved with the planning the new hospital which is due to open early in the 2030s .

AUDIOLOGIST - Band 5

We are searching for a forward-looking and enthusiastic person to join us. You will be expected to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and, as such, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your duties will be mainly adult diagnostic and rehabilitation and support for ENT which will include some Paediatric testing. You will also be expected to contribute the training of apprentices and junior staff. You will hold a BSc in Audiology or nationally recognised qualification in Audiology. You will be state registered or working towards registration. Applications from newly qualified Audiologists would be welcome as full support will be given.
