Audio Visual Installation Engineer – Smart Home Automation / Residential – Essex
£33,000 – £38,000 per annum (DOE)

What you’ll be doing

• Installing, commissioning and maintaining a range of AV and home automation systems (Control4, Lutron, Crestron, etc.)
• Rack building, cable pulling, wiring and terminations
• Installing multi‑room audio, home cinema, networking, lighting control, CCTV and integrated security systems
• Working closely with project managers, programmers and designers to deliver projects to the highest standards
• Providing occasional client handover and basic system training

About you

• Proven experience in AV installation, ideally in high‑end residential settings
• Knowledge of smart home technologies (Control4, Lutron, Crestron or similar)
• Strong technical skills in cable management, AV rack building and fault finding
• Confident reading technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Professional, presentable, with excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
