Job description
Overview

The Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional display services company to carry out a wide range of technical duties including installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of Electronic display equipment. Equipment types are predominantly LED and TFT displays from 21 inch diagonal up to large scale LED installations over 100 square metres in size, including the display(s) media players, communications and system control equipment.

The displays installed and maintained are deployed across sports venues, retail, workspace, transportation, hospitality, roadside and education environments. Technicians experience variety, working on a display in a bustling retail environment, in a corporate headquarters, by the roadside, at a digital installation or providing event support at a sporting location.

Sites include Harrods, Barclays, Alight Media, Piccadilly Lights and Wembley Stadium. The organisation provides display hardware, electrical, data and structure installation, modular level repair field service, commissioning, event support and preventative maintenance, plus complete display structure manufacturing, repairs and refurbishment at the Head Office.

Our client operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; weekend, bank holiday and night work are part of the service offering. Most works are carried out between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM on weekdays.

Technicians are paid “door to door” from leaving home to returning, with all time outside the normal weekday working day paid at premium overtime rates, including travel time. This typically results in earning around 25% more than the basic headline salary.

Due to expansion, vacancies are available across the UK, including Edinburgh, Bristol, Peterborough and Bolton. Applications from other UK areas with the required skills and experience are welcome.

Salary is competitive DOE, plus benefits.
