Job summary

Bonnier Books UK is seeking an Audio Intern to support the Audio team on specific projects. The role offers exposure to audiobook publishing, hands-on learning in a major UK publishing house, and a path towards becoming an audio editor.

The candidate should be energetic, detail‑oriented, and a team player with a passion for books and audiobooks. The position is a two-month fixed-term contract in London with a hybrid pattern requiring two days in the office and up to three days from home.

Qualifications

  • Interest in books and audiobooks is essential.
  • Ambitious self-starter with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to manage tasks from start to finish to high standard.
  • Strong communication skills are required.
  • Keen attention to detail and excellent organisation/time management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and/or Apple office packages; quick to learn new systems.
  • Previous audio experience is not required.

Working pattern:Hybrid – minimum of two days per week in the office; up to three days per week working from home

Salary:£28,860 per annum

Duration:Two- month fixed-term contract

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about audiobook publishing and get valuable experience at a major UK publishing house as you find out first‑hand how the audio‑making process works and have the opportunity to work on interesting projects.

The ideal candidate will be an open, energetic, detail‑oriented team‑player with a passion for books and audiobooks, an enthusiasm for both fiction and non‑fiction and has an ambition to become an audio editor.
