Job summary

Listers Audi Coventry is seeking a certificated MOT Tester to join our workshop team, providing MOT tests and general workshop support. The role requires holding DVSA Class 4 and 7 MOT licences and an up-to-date training record; brand training is provided.

You will work 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota, and you can expect an excellent salary package with uncapped OTE plus a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid DVSA Class 4 and 7 MOT licences and completed annual training.
• Brand training provided; previous technician experience beneficial.
• Compliant with health and safety and quality standards.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT testing duties.
• Operate CitNOW video reporting and related systems.
• Complete paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Collaborate with workshop team and DVSA framework compliance.
• Ensure work meets high standards within deadlines.

Job Introduction

Due to continuing growth, the opportunity has arisen for a certificated MOT Tester to join the team at Listers Audi Coventry, assisting with a variety of workshop support work alongside MOT Tests.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30 -17:00 plus Saturdays on a rota basis.

We offer an excellent basic salary, with uncapped OTE of £34,500 plus benefits.

Role And Responsibilities

• The main responsibilities would include MOT Testing
• You will be trained and able to operate additional systems, such as video reporting i.e CitNOW.
• You also will be able to complete all paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.
• To work within DVSA framework.
• You will have a full understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, within required timescales and in accordance with established and documented procedures and standards from both the Company and Ministry of Transport.

About You

• You must have a valid class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence with DVSA and have an up-to-date annual training record and passed the assessment.
• Previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician and brand accreditations would be beneficial but not essential as brand training will be provided.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and quality
• Full Driving licence.
