A local educational institution in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time role involving support for families in maximizing educational opportunities. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and previous experience working with children and families. This role involves conducting home visits and providing assistance to ensure students can achieve their potential. Applicants must have a UK driving license and a car. Training will be provided on the necessary management information systems.

Are you a team player do you want to make a positive change to a diverse and sometimes challenging community but one which is full of potential. We need someone with integrity, innovation and drive to work with and support families in enabling all children and young people to maximise their educational opportunities. Owing to the nature of the role an ability to relate to the Academy’s students is crucial. Home visits will be required as part of this role so a UK driving licence and a car will be essential.
You will have excellent communication skills, administration skills, a polite telephone manner, be organised, energetic and able to remain calm in a busy environment. Training will be provided on our management information system.
The successful candidate will be a highly self‑motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience of working with children and families and with other agencies is essential, preferably within an education welfare setting.
