Job summary

Jack Hunt Academy is seeking an Attendance Officer to join our Attendance Team and support students and families to improve regular attendance. You will work with specific year groups, helping remove barriers and ensuring timely data tasks are completed.

The role requires a strong sense of confidentiality, initiative, and high accuracy in attendance records. The position is 37 hours per week, term time plus 1 week, with on-site facilities at Bradwell Road, Peterborough.

About this Role

Attendance Officer

Attendance is the most important thing we do - if students are not in school, they cannot benefit from the great opportunities Jack Hunt provides.

We are proud that attendance levels at Jack Hunt Academy are consistently above national average. We require an Attendance Officer to work as part of our high performing Attendance Team to enable these high standards.

The successful candidate will work with specific year groups, to support students and families to overcome barriers to attendance and will also complete weekly attendance data tasks. They will have a high regard for confidentiality, an ability to show initiative, and be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in their work.

Working Hours

This appointment is for 37 hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week.

• Monday - Thursday 8.15 am - 4.15 pm
• Friday 8.15 am - 3.45 pm

Start and finish times can be discussed at interview should flexibility be required.

Salary

Salary is paid at Grade 6, NJC SCP points 7 - 12,

actual salary is £23,355 - £25,296 per annum (FTE £27,275 - £29,542).
