A local comprehensive school is seeking an Attendance Officer to ensure effective student attendance and support families by monitoring and addressing attendance barriers. The role requires strong organisational skills, communication abilities, and experience in attendance monitoring. You will work collaboratively with the pastoral team, analyse data for improvement plans, and manage attendance inquiries. This is a dynamic role in a supportive environment dedicated to the welfare of students and their families.

The role of Attendance Officer requires a well‑organised professional, attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task.
Bedford High School is a mixed comprehensive school judged “good” by Ofsted in 2023. It is now full throughout KS3 and KS4 with a waiting list of families. The school operates on two sites with excellent facilities including a 3G pitch, green outdoor space, an outside classroom, bistro and gym areas.
