Co-op Academy Brierley in Leeds is seeking an Attendance and Family Engagement Officer to join our Pastoral Team. This role links the school, students, and homes to boost attendance and re-engage families with education.

You will promote attendance, support leadership teams, report on trends, and implement targeted strategies. A resilient, organised candidate with safeguarding values will fit well in our cooperative culture.

Formación

• Educated to NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) with GCSE English and Maths (grades 9–4 / A*–C).
• Experience with administration, record-keeping, Google Docs/Sheets, and attendance databases; Arbor knowledge is a bonus.

Responsabilidades

• Direct family engagement with parents and carers via phone, meetings, and home visits to improve attendance.
• Input and monitor attendance data in school systems; generate reports for senior leaders.
• Organise attendance panels, set targets, and establish parenting contracts where needed.
• Advise on statutory processes for persistent absence in line with policy.
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to safeguard students and address wider needs.
