A local Academy in Worcester is seeking an Attendance and Safeguarding Administrator for a part-time role of 22 hours per week. The position involves providing administrative support to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students. Salary: Scale 4, SCP7-11, £13,623 - £14,520 per annum for 22 hours and term-time only
22–22.5 hours per week, spread across 3 days (specific days to be agreed with the successful candidate). Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am–4:30pm and Friday 8:30am–4:00pm.
We are seeking to appoint an organised and proactive Attendance and Safeguarding Administrator to support the Safeguarding, Attendance and Wellbeing Officer and Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) in ensuring the safety, welfare and attendance of students in Years 7–13. The role involves delivering efficient administrative support across safeguarding and attendance procedures, working with staff and external agencies, and providing a professional, helpful service to students, families and visitors.
The ideal candidate will be confident using a range of IT packages and will bring a warm and professional approach to all interactions. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. A positive, adaptable mindset, along with the ability to remain calm, organised and focused in a busy environment, is essential.
Working hours: 22–22.5 hours per week, spread across 3 days (specific days to be agreed with the successful candidate). Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am–4:30pm and Friday 8:30am–4:00pm.
Salary: Scale 4 SCP 7-11, dependent on skills. £26,403 - £28,142 FTE. Pro-rated to £13,623 - £14,520 (22 hours, term-time only).
Start date: As soon as possible.
