Job summary

Scottish Athletics, in partnership with Ayr Seaforth AC, is seeking a Pathway Development Officer to strengthen athlete and coaching pathways across local, regional and national levels. The role will work closely with coaches, volunteers and club leaders to implement a clear progression framework and sustainable coaching workforce.

The post is funded by Ayr Seaforth AC and sportscotland, offers hybrid working from Ayr and requires evening/weekend availability, with a starting salary of £6,994

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a clear athlete and coaching pathway across local, regional and national levels.
• Strengthen the club’s coaching workforce through recruitment, education and ongoing support.
• Review current coaching provision and athlete needs; improve capacity, quality and accessibility across disciplines and ages.
