Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist on duty ATCOs to ensure safe provision of air traffic service.
• Provide operational support to ATCOs in Tower and Radar positions.

To support the Air Traffic Control team, we are looking to recruit Clearance Delivery Officers to join Leeds Bradford Airport, to assist in providing an outstanding and seamless service. Main Responsibilities: This is an entry level role into a career in Air Traffic Control.

• The CDO is responsible to the Senior CDO for the provision of general assistance to the on duty ATCOs to ensure the safe, expeditious and efficient provision of the Air Traffic Service.
• Provide specialist operational support to the ATCOs in both Tower and Radar positions.
• Provide Clearance Delivery function in VCR in support of the Aerodrome ATCO.
• Liaise with other operational departments.
• Provide Meteorological observations and dissemination via the METCOM.
• Maintain currency of MET certification.
• Carry out simulator pilot duties where trained.
• Other Operational Support Assistant duties as directed by management.
• To maintain the highest possible standards, professionalism and customer focus when representing the department and the Airport.
• Performing safety duties in accordance with the LBA Safety Management Manual.
  Experience of using Microsoft Office software
• Basic knowledge of airport and aircraft operations.
• 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade 9 to 4/A+ to C, including English Language and Mathematics (Equivalent vocational skills acceptable).

  Shifts: 6 on 3 off — 37 hours per week (Rotational shifts)
• Salary: Competitive, base on experience.
