Job summary

SP Energy Networks is seeking an Assurance & Control Analyst (x2) in Glasgow to deliver risk, control and assurance activities. The role involves setting up and operating the assurance model, auditing processes, and reporting to senior leadership across multiple functions.

We require a degree and proven experience in assurance/audit, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Hybrid working is offered and the closing date is 13 August 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering assurance or audit reviews in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and methodologies.
• Ability to translate findings into practical recommendations for stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based assurance reviews and audits across processes.
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness and drive remediation actions.
• Maintain assurance plans, control registers and risk matrices aligned to standards.
• Produce concise assurance reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
