COS is looking for an Omnichannel Assortment Planner who will be accountable for optimizing the channel's product mix, quantifying the assortment and planning the number of articles for the online and store channels to maximize meaningful growth and increasing sell‑through profitability for each region. Together with the Buyer you will optimise the best assortment for our target customer, and you will be responsible for global and regional article ranking. In collaboration with the Buying and Business Controlling teams you will secure & optimise the best customer offer.

Responsibilities
  • Together with the senior channel planner, set the department (channel’s) global assortment strategy Omni to maximize growth and profitability
  • Being accountable for optimizing the product mix and range plan by channel, ensuring a balanced assortment tailored to regional needs and driving selling performance
  • Optimizing assortment planning by identifying sales‑driving factors such as product type, price, and colour, while securing the best product at the right time and place, and in the right quantity to maximize performance – down to a regional need
  • Being responsible for planning, analysing, and responding to performance, while working closely with product, pricing, and profitability strategies in line with departmental goals
  • Constantly following, reacting and identifying new sales opportunities and risks, based on selling, customer insight and surrounding analysis
  • Optimizing content planning, aligning income per region and collection handover to Merchandising and Marketing team
  • Being self‑motivated to take ownership, to learn and seek opportunities to improve a way of working that is aligned with goals, product & topline channel strategy
  • Collaborating with the Head of Departments Senior channel planners to set strategies and targets
  • Co‑working with the Buying Controllers & Senior planners to align targets and budgets and collaborating with Buyers to secure the best customer offer
  • Being accountable for providing regional & channel selling insights to the team to support meaningful growth
  • Leading quarterly department input and ensuring feedback is shared and acted on to drive impact
  • Optimizing ranking and income planning for Omni both channel needs in all departments, meeting customer needs
  • Optimizing regional stock levels to support growth and availability
  • Secure the timeline from a planning perspective based on the overall timeline for the product department buy and sell

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar Planning, Buying or Merchandising role for a fashion retailer, knowledge of omni‑channel dynamics essential
  • Ability to analyze product mix, price points, and regional performance to create a balanced and profitable assortment
  • Proficiency in planning/quantification softwares
  • Genuine interest in the COS brand and delivering the best customer offer
  • Strong skills in interpreting sales data, customer insights, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks
  • Expertise in demand forecasting, income planning and stock optimization across regions
  • Proven high commercial acumen, understanding of profitability drivers, pricing strategies and product lifecycle management
  • Strong experience collaborating cross‑functionally to align strategies and timelines
  • Ability to communicate effectively and strong stakeholder management
  • Ability to translate global assortment strategies into actionable plans for omni‑channel execution
  • Strong organizational skills to manage timelines, order placements, and collection handovers
  • Strong ability to identify future buying trends and adapt strategies accordingly based on buyers commercial belief strategies
