Associate User Researcher – Homes for Ukraine, MHCLG

Location: Wolverhampton

Responsibilities
  • Work with others under supervision to plan, prepare and carry out a range of user research activities to support the design and improvement of services
  • Analyse research data and synthesise clear and actionable findings
  • Share findings to help people understand users and their needs
  • Work closely with colleagues to turn user research findings into action
  • Champion users and their experience
Qualifications
  • Strong interest in user research and a desire to move into this profession
  • Basic knowledge of user research methods and passion to apply them
  • Experience of doing user research and analysis, either as a researcher in a small team or through other user‑centred design activities
  • Good communication skills and ability to champion user‑centred ways of working
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams on live digital services, including collaboration with software developers to deliver iterative improvements
Benefits and Salary

Salary: £33,787 – £39,508 (national). Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme contribution of 28.97%.
