Job summary

We're working exclusively with a well-regarded London-based specialty insurance team to find an ambitious underwriter looking to step into a high-ownership role within transactional liability. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, senior team covering W&I insurance for the small to mid-market — where deals are live, the work is varied, and progression is real.

The team focuses on transactions with enterprise values up to £300m, working across a broad range of sectors and jurisdictions. You'll be embedded in the full underwriting cycle from day one — evaluating and quoting risks, managing broker and advisor relationships, and contributing directly or the team's growth strategy. With a lean team structure, there's genuine scope to take ownership early and shape the direction of the practice.

What you'll be doing
