As an Associate Tutor you will work closely with teachers and specialists to support secondary‑aged students who benefit from an alternative provision setting. You’ll build strong relationships, guide learning in the classroom, deliver tailored interventions and help maintain a positive, safe and engaging environment. With a calm approach to behaviour and an understanding of SEND or SEMH needs you’ll help students overcome barriers and move forward with confidence. You will also take on the role of Group Coach, offering daily encouragement and pastoral support.
To thrive in this role you’ll bring excellent communication skills, the ability to support literacy and numeracy, confidence in positive behaviour management and a reflective approach to your own practice. Experience supporting young people with complex needs is beneficial, but what truly matters is your commitment to our values and your desire to grow.
