A UK-based consultancy in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Associate Transport Engineer to manage multiple projects and prepare transport assessments. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills and CAD experience, ensuring a successful contribution to sustainability-focused projects. This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000, hybrid working arrangement, bonuses, and further training opportunities. Candidates must possess a valid UK driver's license and be eligible to work in the UK.

Within this role you will be responsible for managing multiple live projects, taking responsibility for preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and site access appraisals. The role will involve producing site access and travel plans, carrying out CAD work relating to access design, and delivering clear, well-structured reports to support planning submissions. This position allows you to hit the ground running making an instant impact within the business.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will be an experienced Transport Engineer with strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, directors and internal teams both verbally and written, as well as holding a full UK drivers license to be able to travel to sites when required.
