About the Opportunity

You’ll work on exciting projects ranging from large‑scale residential and mixed‑use developments to energy, commercial, education, and industrial sites. Your work will cover the entire project life cycle, from Development Plan promotion and planning applications to appeals.

What You'll Bring

To excel in this role, you’ll be:

  • MRTPI qualified.
  • Possess strong knowledge of current Scottish planning legislation, ideally with experience in residential and energy developments.
  • Experienced in delivering a wide range of planning applications, appeals, and inquiries.
  • A collaborative team player, adept at working effectively with colleagues, clients, contacts, and community stakeholders.
  • Equipped with excellent technical Planning skills.
  • Proven in shaping, directing, and delivering medium to large-scale projects.
Your Key Responsibilities

As part of our team, you'll be instrumental in:

  • Promoting medium to large‑scale residential, mixed‑use, energy, industrial, education, and other developments (both brownfield and greenfield) through the Local Development Plan process.
  • Coordinating subsequent planning applications and appeals.
  • Coordinating project teams and managing projects effectively.
  • Conducting feasibility and site appraisals for our diverse client base.
  • Preparing planning and Statements of Community Engagement when required.
  • Supporting the building and maintaining of strong client relationships.
