The Role

As an Associate Town Planner, you will be responsible for managing a diverse project portfolio while supporting junior team members and driving client relationships. You’ll play a central role in preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals, developing planning strategies, and contributing to the consultancy’s commercial success.

About You

We’re looking for a commercially minded and confident Associate Town Planner with strong technical ability and a proactive approach.

Requirements
  • RTPI‑accredited degree and MRTPI status
  • Relevant years of experience in a planning consultancy or similar environment
  • Strong project management and client‑facing experience
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple deadlines
  • A collaborative attitude and commitment to delivering high‑quality work
  • Full UK driving licence
