Job Description
  • Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of technology-related agreements, including software licensing, SaaS, and outsourcing contracts.
  • Provide legal advice to clients on intellectual property, data privacy, and commercial technology issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of technology transactions.
  • Manage and oversee deals, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and client requirements.
  • Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions involving technology assets.
  • Offer strategic advice to clients on technology-related regulatory developments.
  • Support business development activities by contributing to thought leadership and client training sessions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and a solutions-driven approach.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate, Technology Transactions should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and must be admitted, and in good standing, to the California bar.
  • Proven expertise in technology transactions, including client-facing experience.
  • The ability to independently manage and run deals from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of intellectual property, data privacy, and technology law.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
