Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join its office on the outskirts of Brighton. You will lead structural projects from design through to completion and play a senior role in team leadership and client liaison.

The role involves attending client meetings, site visits, developing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. You will also contribute to fee proposals and help develop UK and international teams.

Qualifications

• Chartered Structural Engineer or near-chartered with strong technical background.
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from design through to completion.
• Manage workloads and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
• Attend client and project meetings, site visits and design reviews.
• Develop relationships with clients, architects, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Grow the client base across sectors, identify opportunities, and prepare fee proposals.
• Contribute to QA processes by reviewing calculations, drawings and reports.
• Recruit, develop and manage UK and international staff.
