Associate Structural Engineer - Building Safety

Location: Sidcup, Kent

Salary: £60k-£70k

Responsibilities
  • Lead and assist in the development of the team delivering structural engineering inspections and reports for building safety cases.
  • Work with the Director to expand the client portfolio while managing growth and overseeing the technical delivery of the existing team.
  • Visit sites, make observations, and provide written advice on building structures.
  • Maintain expertise in robustness and progressive collapse, and assess and remediate large panel systems as required.
Qualifications
  • Ambitious Chartered Structural Engineer with an interest in building safety.
  • Experienced in a wide range of building structure design.
  • Good understanding of robustness and progressive collapse.
  • Preferable experience of assessments and remedial works of large panel systems.
