Location: Newport (hybrid)

Salary: £50,000 to £70,000

A well-regarded law firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor with 2-6 years' post-qualification experience to join its growing Family & Matrimonial team in Newport. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing department known for its client care, collaborative ethos, and complex casework.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of family and matrimonial matters, including:

  • Divorce and separation proceedings
  • Financial remedy and asset division
  • Private law children matters
  • Cohabitation and prenuptial agreements
  • Domestic abuse and injunction applications
  • Supporting Partners and junior team members
  • Ensuring high standards of client service and compliance
Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 2-6 years PQE in family and matrimonial law
