Job description

Coppett Hill is growing and we’re recruiting for Associates to join our team in London in September 2026. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to fast track their career, working closely with our experienced senior team in a fast growth environment and having meaningful impact with our private equity backed clients.

Our leadership team combine backgrounds as strategy consultants (ex PWC and BCG), private equity investors (ex Livingbridge) and operators (ex CMO at CarTrawler, ex CEO Scale Space, ex MD Spotlight). We believe we are building a truly differentiated consultancy - one that delivers significant impact for clients, leverages best in class proprietary tech, and supports our team to do their best work. Core to our approach is enabling high potential to become high performance, both for our clients and our team.

As an Associate you will be a key member of the team, working alongside Project Leaders and other experienced consultants to deliver client projects. You can expect to work across a wide range of clients and project types.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building an understanding of each client’s requirements, their business and wider market context, to support project delivery
  • Leading analysis of both company-provided and market data to identify trends, opportunities and challenges – using both established Coppett Hill technology tools as well as designing bespoke analytical approaches
  • Undertaking research to build an evidence base for recommendations, for example designing customer surveys, interviewing market experts and carrying out mystery shopping
  • Creating content for client deliverables and joining client meetings to present research, analysis and recommendations with high impact
  • Supporting the development of Coppett Hill’s suite of proprietary technology tools

This role would ideally suit those who are interested by the variety and pace of consulting with a desire to take on more responsibility and experience greater client engagement than may be commonplace in a larger organisation.Given our data driven and tech-enabled approach, this role also suits candidates who are excited by the idea of working with large datasets and using code (primarily SQL).

We are looking for people who have demonstrable skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Problem solving and insight, with the ability to bring structured thinking to complicated situations and translate data into practical recommendations
  • Analytical skills and technical experience 'beyond excel'. Experience with SQL, Python, or a visualisation tool (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Looker) is a plus
  • A commercial mindset and an interest in business and customer acquisition
  • Clear written and verbal communication and strong relationship building
  • Committed team player – you want to have real impact with clients working at pace as part of a project team
  • Self-directed and proactive – you will have considerable responsibility from Day 1

We understand that early in your career you may not have specific experience against every single one of these boxes – don’t let that put you off, we are most interested in your ability and desire to learn.

Must-Have requirements
  • Undergraduate degree from a top tier university
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset
  • Analytical skills 'beyond excel' - whether through work experience, your studies, personal projects etc
  • Fluent in English
  • Right to work in the UK, we do not offer skilled visa sponsorship for this role. We do accept applications from candidates on the graduate visa (at least 18 months remaining), and would review transitioning this over to a skilled worker visa on a case-by-case basis.

You will work alongside experienced project leaders and benefit from day-to-day collaboration with our impressive clients, creating opportunities for both accelerated learning and significant impact.

Our offices are in the City of London, with plenty of great amenities nearby. Our Associates will spend most of their time working with their project teams in person here or with our clients. We prioritise a balanced lifestyle and long-term investment in the development of our team. By joining Coppett Hill in this period of rapid growth you will not only work on exciting projects but also be part of building and shaping the business, its strategy and culture, with the potential to build a highly rewarding career.

Deadline

Applications for the Associate position (September 2026 start) will close by 11:59pm GMT 2nd December 2025.
