Job summary

Frasia Wright Associates is recruiting an Associate to join its Energy Projects Team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. The role focuses on energy projects, particularly power, with opportunities to expand into regulatory issues within the energy and infrastructure sectors.

You will support Partners and associates, contribute to business development, supervise junior members, and deliver training to colleagues and clients. Fluency in a second language would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years PQE with a strong legal background in the energy sector.
• Experience in energy projects, corporate, finance or regulatory work desirable.

This highly regarded law firm is currently recruiting an Associate to join its Energy Projects Team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. The main focus of the role will be energy projects, in particular power projects however you will also expand your experience by assisting the energy and infrastructure sectors where required and providing regulatory advice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Being responsible for managing and supervising the more junior members of the team.
• Preparing and delivering training, both internally and for clients, as part of your continued development.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years PQE , however consideration will be given to more junior or senior candidates. You will have a strong legal and academic background, with project, corporate, finance or regulatory experience in the energy sector being desirable. Fluency in a second language would be an advantage.
