Buckles Solicitors LLP is expanding its Commercial Property practice and recruiting an experienced Commercial Property Associate/Senior Associate to join our established and growing team.

You will manage your own caseload, work with partners on high‑value transactions, and develop strong client relationships while contributing to the team's growth in a supportive, collaborative environment with cross‑border exposure.

• Solid commercial property experience.
• Technically strong with good attention to detail.

• Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on larger, more complex and high-value transactions.

• Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property and development land.
• Landlord and tenant work, including leases, renewals and asset management.
• Property finance and secured lending transactions.
• Development work, including site assembly and plot sales.
• Portfolio management for corporate and investor clients.

About the team you’ll be joining

Our Commercial Property team is a collaborative and high-performing group of experienced lawyers delivering a broad range of real estate services to a diverse client base. We support developers, landowners, investors and businesses across a range of sectors, using a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to achieve our clients’ objectives.

The team is recognised for its breadth of expertise, advising on everything from development site acquisitions and disposals to asset management of large property portfolios, landlord and tenant matters, and property finance arrangements.

We act for both national and international clients, including businesses with cross-border interests, and are regularly instructed on complex and high-value transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and progressive environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Manage your own caseload of commercial property matters, with appropriate supervision and support
• Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on larger, more complex and high-value transactions
• Develop strong client relationships and play an active role in delivering high-quality client experience

The role offers a genuine balance of autonomy and collaboration, enabling you to build on your experience and legal skill set while gaining exposure to complex and intellectually stimulating work.

You will be involved in a wide range of commercial property matters, which may include:

• Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property and development land
• Landlord and tenant work, including leases, renewals and asset management
• Property finance and secured lending transactions
• Development work, including site assembly and plot sales
• Portfolio management for corporate and investor clients

Given the nature of our client base, you will have exposure to both domestic and international transactions, often involving multiple stakeholders and requiring a commercial, solution-driven approach.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Solid commercial property experience
• Technically strong, with good attention to detail
• Commercially aware and able to provide pragmatic advice
