Job summary

SA Law is seeking an ambitious litigation lawyer (4–5 years PQE) to advise clients on a broad range of commercial disputes. You’ll take ownership of matters from instruction through to settlement or trial, with a focus on delivering excellent client service and practical, commercially focused advice.

Qualifications

• Ambitious litigation lawyer with 4–5 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of commercial disputes across sectors.
• Manage a diverse caseload including contractual, shareholder and professional negligence disputes, debt recovery and property matters.
• Take ownership from instruction to settlement or trial with excellent client service.
• Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, settlement agreements and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical, commercially focused advice.
• Represent clients in mediations, negotiations and other ADR.
• Collaborate with Corporate, Commercial Property, Employment and Private Wealth teams to deliver joined-up advice.
• Contribute to business development, networking and marketing to grow the team’s profile.

What you’ll do

Advise clients on a broad range of commercial disputes, acting for businesses, business owners and individuals across a variety of sectors.

Manage a Diverse Caseload Including

• Contractual disputes
• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Professional negligence claims
• Debt recovery and enforcement matters
• Injunctive relief applications
• Commercial property-related disputes
• Business and commercial litigation matters

Take ownership of matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, maintaining excellent client service throughout.

Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, settlement agreements and other litigation documents.

Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice.

Represent clients in mediations, settlement discussions and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm’s Corporate, Commercial Property, Employment and Private Wealth teams to deliver joined-up advice.

Contribute to business development initiatives, networking activities and marketing opportunities to further strengthen the team’s profile in the market.

About You

You are an ambitious litigation lawyer (ideally 4 – 5 years post-qualification experience), looking for:
