Job summary

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in England and Wales or Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Providing accurate commercial advice to clients.
• Delivering excellent client service.
• Preparing and negotiating Jersey transaction documents.
• Liaising with instructing counsel to provide Jersey transaction management support.
• Managing deadlines effectively.
• Preparing fee estimates and keeping clients updated in relation to fees.
• Managing work in progress.
• Taking responsibility for delegated work and asking for appropriate guidance from the Partners and senior lawyers as necessary.
• Contribute to producing know-how.
• Support the Partners in developing more junior members of the team.
• Assisting the Partners and senior lawyers with appropriate business development activities.
