The Social Sciences Journals team is comprised of 9 Publishers: 2 in Oxford (UK), 4 in London (UK), 2 in Amsterdam (NL) and 1 in Shanghai (China); And 4 Scientific Editors based in Amsterdam (NL), London (UK) and Delhi (India).
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to work alongside the Publishers and existing Associate Scientific Editors to help further grow, shape and develop Social Sciences & Humanities Open and Acta Psychologica, significant, broad scope, sound-science open access titles within the Social Sciences Journals team. This role will balance academic research knowledge with efficiency, analytic skills, network development and creativity.
We are looking to recruit a full-time Associate Scientific Editor to work at any of the main offices in the UK or the Netherlands (London, Oxford or Amsterdam). Please note you must already have a permit to work in one of these locations to be considered for this role. Any applicant would need to have a good educational background and keen interest in academic publishing; excellent communication skills; and would have to be prepared to work somewhat independently from the rest of the immediate team while also contributing to team initiatives.
