A national health organization seeks an Associate Safety and Learning Lead for a remote role focusing on enhancing patient and staff safety. You will work with healthcare systems to improve safety learning and support clinical claims processes. An opportunity has arisen to join NHS Resolutions national Safety and Learning team to support the regional clinical lead in South to support for 12 months or until 31 March 2027, whichever is first.
The successful candidate will gain an in depth understanding of how clinical negligence claims can be used as a catalyst for safety learning and improvement by working with and strengthening existing relationships with health providers across the South as well as building new stakeholder relationships to share claims learning.
The post is a remote role with expectation to work from home and directly with health trusts in and around South locations. Occasional overnight stays to attend team meetings and support national workstreams is required.
As the Regional Associate Safety and Learning Lead, you will be responsible for engaging and collaborating with healthcare systems across the South to enhance the understanding and application of safety and learning. Working closely with regional stakeholders, you will provide tailored support to member organizations, leveraging your clinical expertise to reduce claims and improve safety profiles.
Your work will have a focus on patient and staff safety to work at the interface between NHSR, members, patient representatives, other Arms Length Bodies (ALBs) and the NHS in:
