The Acute Clinical Management Division are a team of dedicated clinicians providing preventative emergency solutions and management of clinical emergencies at an advanced level, ensuring a safe clinical environment to conduct clinical trials.
An exciting opportunity has been created, for an enthusiastic registered Nurse, Paramedic or ODP, with a minimum of 2 years post qualification, to join our division, working in first in human pharmacological research as an associate Resuscitation Practitioner.
The successful candidate should work well under pressure and have an attention for detail. A generous training package will be offered, to provide further development to attain Advance life Support (ALS) instructor status. Once qualified You will deliver:
You will provide clinical support in medical emergencies, especially on patient participant studies. You will provide training for our staff and external candidates in both ILS and future ALS courses. On dosing mornings, you will be responsible for Aseptic cannulating or supervising cannulation rounds and provide safety cover. In addition you will be trained to lead, drug free plasma donation studies.
You will be responsible for sourcing and working one clinical shift per week, in your clinical profession, to maintain your registration and clinical acuity.
The right candidates will be expected to follow the RPL Learning and Development examination system and ensure that they reach the expected high standards, of performance necessary for the conduct of their duties.
Applicants must be fluent in English both oral and written. Self-motivation, enthusiasm and the ability to work well in a team, particularly under pressure, are essential.
