Job summary

RGA in the United Kingdom is seeking an Administrative Support role to assist in UK and CE treaty and facultative premium accounts. You will help ensure accurate processing and build knowledge of reinsurance processes under guidance from senior team members.

You will work with Administration Operations, Finance and Valuation teams, help with month-end procedures, audit requests and ad hoc data, while developing knowledge of treaty structures.

Qualifications

• Some experience in an administrative, operations, finance or data-processing environment, or a relevant degree/qualification.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver results within agreed timelines.
• A proactive team player who can also work independently.
• An interest in developing knowledge of reinsurance concepts and administration processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of business in line with treaty requirements, company standards and service level expectations.
• Prepare and process administration data in accordance with established procedures, including processing through RGA entities, external retrocessionaires, and the International Retro Pool, with any issues escalated as required.
• Process premium transactions accurately and within agreed timelines with support from experienced team members.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all administration processes and procedures.
• Assist with audit requests and information gathering activities.
• Collaborate with team members across UK, CE & ME Administration Operations, EMEA Finance, and Valuations to support month-end deadlines. This includes assisting with policy exhibit calculations.
• Assist with ad hoc data requests from internal stakeholders and clients as needed.
• Learn and develop an understanding of reinsurance, treaty structures and key administration processes and controls.

A Brief Overview

Your role is to support the administration of UK and Continental Europe (CE) Treaty and Facultative premium accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing while developing reinsurance and administration knowledge under the guidance of senior team members.
