Overview

Associate Quantity Surveyor - An opportunity has come up for an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join an award winning multi-disciplinary property & construction consultancy based on the outskirts of Manchester. With an established client base and a collaborative team culture, the team deliver innovative and sustainable solutions across a range of sectors.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career.

Role

As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you\'ll take on a senior, client-facing position, providing strategic cost and procurement advice across a diverse portfolio of projects. Their work spans the Residential, Student Housing, Education, Heritage, Commercial, Retail, and Local Authority sectors.

You'll play a pivotal role across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility to completion, ensuring successful delivery and helping to shape the future direction of the cost consultancy team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of detailed cost plans and budget estimates
  • Oversee procurement strategies and contract administration
  • Manage cost control and reporting processes to ensure value for money
  • Provide high-level risk management and value engineering advice
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Mentor and lead junior surveyors, supporting career development

Requirements
  • MRICS accreditation in Quantity Surveying
  • Previous experience as an Employer\'s Agent is highly desirable
