Onsite or Hybrid: At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as an Associate Project Manager – Buildings Design at our Devonport Royal Dockyard site.

The role

As an Associate Project Manager – Buildings Design, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary, playing a key role in managing multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects that enhance Devonport’s sustainment capabilities. You’ll work closely with design teams, stakeholders, and end users to ensure the facilities meet both technical and operational requirements.

Day-to-day, you’ll support the project management team in ensuring the successful delivery of multiple building design packages, from initial concept through to contractor handover.

  • Acting as the key interface between design consultants and contractors to deliver building designs
  • Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation across multiple work packages
  • Supporting development of technical requirements and project scope with engineering teams
  • Interpreting supply chain reports and turning insights into actionable plans
  • Ensuring compliance and traceability through effective documentation management

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
