The University of Leicester invites applications for an Associate Professor in Behavioural Science (Teaching and Research focused) to join the MPharm team in the School of Healthcare. The appointee will develop and lead internationally recognised research while embedding high-quality behavioural science teaching that underpins clinical practice across the curriculum.

Qualifications

• PhD in behavioural science-related discipline.
• Fellowship of the HEA or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level with strong student outcomes.
• Proven ability to secure external research funding.

Responsibilities

• Lead internationally recognised research within your field.
• Embed high-quality behavioural science teaching across the curriculum.
• Deliver research-led teaching and supervise postgraduate researchers.
• Develop partnerships with healthcare providers and industry.
• Engage in admissions, mentoring, and outreach, including public and academic communities.
