Description of Job

We are an ambitious church in a vibrant village community, set in beautiful Hampshire countryside between Winchester and Romsey.

Our Vision is to be a flourishing community of faith, enabling people to encounter Jesus, grow in faith and action, sharing life together. We are looking for an Associate Priest who will work among us to achieve our vision: to preach the Good News, reach out across the community, and grow our Church.

We know we are work in progress and so our Associate Priest would:

• be an enthusiastic preacher and worshipper.
• display their faith in daily life and encouraging us forward in a pro-active and vibrant way.
• be a visible and engaging presence in community life, meeting people where they are at.
• encoura ge othersto use and grow their gifts and talents
• bring creativity to both worship and mission

Our church is a single parish benefice, grouped with the neighbouring multi-parish benefice of Braishfield, Awbridge, Michelmersh, Timsbury and Farley Chamberlayne in the Test Valley.Our priest would also, lead some services across the wider group
