Job summary

KT Healthcare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support a client with complex neurological and developmental needs, including brain injury, cerebral palsy, autism and epilepsy. The role focuses on sensory-based occupational therapy and sensory integration-informed input.

You will work flexibly, from ad-hoc to part-time or full-time arrangements, with travel to client homes/schools across the UK.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with experience in complex neurological, developmental and sensory needs.
• Experience in sensory integration, autism, cerebral palsy and/or brain injury desirable.
• Able to work independently with strong communication and reporting skills.

• Provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention.
• Assess sensory processing needs and develop appropriate strategies.
• Provide sensory integration-informed therapeutic input.
• Make recommendations around functional and environmental needs.

About the Role

KT Healthcare is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide specialist support to an individual with complex neurological and developmental needs, including brain injury, cerebral palsy, learning difficulties, developmental delay, autism and epilepsy.

The main focus of the role will be sensory-based Occupational Therapy and sensory integration-informed input, alongside some support around the home environment and housing needs.

You will be confident working independently, have strong communication and report-writing skills, and be able to provide practical, person-centred recommendations.
