A leading utilities provider in Leatherhead is seeking a Senior Associate to manage legal transactions and supervise junior legal team members. Responsibilities include negotiating land rights and providing legal advice on various matters. Candidates should have extensive experience in leasehold and freehold transactions and be proficient in legal matters related to the utilities sector. Formación

• Experience dealing with easements, deeds of covenants, and licences to alter.
• Experience in the energy and/or utility sector is desirable.
• Experience supervising or managing junior staff is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage utilities leases and wayleaves from instruction to completion.
• Supervise junior members of the legal team.
• Provide legal advice and support to colleagues regarding legal matters.
• Negotiate the legal framework for major and minor utility schemes.

Conocimientos

Experience managing and negotiating leasehold and freehold purchases

Strong communication and inter-personal skills

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient with MS Office

Educación

Chartered Institute of Legal Executives or Qualified Solicitor
