The PGCE in Further Education was a new programme, launched in September 2020. In this context, the Institute of Education is seeking to appoint an inspirational and excellent Associate Lecturer from the FE sector with a subject specialism in Digital, IT and Computing.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for contributing to general FE teaching and/or their specialist subject area and for developing an excellent student experience. Applicants will also visit trainees in settings and work with mentors to track trainee progress.

How would you introduce the key principles of inclusion in an FE classroom in your specialist subject area?
Please plan as if you were going to teach a group of PGCE FE trainee teachers.
Following this presentation, 5 minutes has been allocated for questions about your presentation prior to the formal interview.
