A national healthcare regulatory firm in Manchester is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to manage regulatory healthcare matters. The ideal candidate will be a solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE, possessing strong drafting and communication skills. Experience in handling regulatory and inquest matters is essential. This role offers a hybrid work model allowing two days in the office, fostering a supportive team environment.
Our national Healthcare Regulatory team is expanding and undertakes a broad spectrum of work defending healthcare professionals and organisations in regulatory proceedings before the statutory regulators (GMC/MPTS, GDC, GOC, GPhC, NMC, HCPC) as well as disciplinary proceedings before NHS Trusts, NHS England and other private healthcare businesses. The team are regularly instructed in Coroner's Inquests, CQC proceedings, data disputes and public inquiries. There is also a specialist sub-team who defend healthcare professionals in criminal proceedings. The regulatory team is led by Adam Weston.
Our Manchester Regulatory team requires an Associate or Senior Associate to handle a varied caseload of regulatory healthcare matters for a range of clients who include, insurance companies, medical and dental defence organisations, private individuals and professional associations.
The successful candidate needs to be able to manage a complex caseload and must have experience of running regulatory and inquest matters in previous roles.
We operate a hybrid model of 2 days per week in the office. Our sociable team often organises events and other opportunities to come together.
